This is a great story, so far. And that's the only thing that's keeping me reading it (and purchasing the next volumes). Despite the author's warnings that he's going to make grammatical errors, I was shocked by the number of errors in this book. At least 7-8 per page! I had to go back and read sentences a second time to understand them. I know, I know, he warns you of this in the beginning, but I can't help but feel that he might be doing this on purpose; kind of taking pride in his "ignorance" and "down home" feel to the story. How else do you explain his misspelling of "finally" as "finely" for 3/4 of the book, only to have him spell it correctly near the end, and then go back and misspell it? If he got it right once, wouldn't he go back and fix it?However, as I said, it's a great story. The character of the main heroes does come through, perhaps because of the author's writing "style". I'm looking forward to seeing how this all ends.

I am still thoroughly enjoying the adventures of John & Sandy. I love the new tussles they've been getting into and I'm sure it's just the start. Keep it coming!!
Another outstanding book that brings the characters and story to life. Well written and very interesting to read. Good proof reading and a tribute to the author.

Rambling around with your hot pistol whipping broad is not where you were taking us. There was direction and purpose when you got to Texas, why leave? Your mother deserves better, build the force there, train you wife to act like a marine and not like Wyatt Earp, who I might add did know what restraint was. Still reading, but you might loose me.
So are so good I keep buying these little tales. So society is over as we know it and the middle age recently back in shape guy finds the warrior princess. OK bring in the next one. These books are like a comic book story. Fun to read and it's keeps you away from the TV or computer. Go outside sit under a tree and wear out your reader.
This book was a lot longer than books 2 and 3. I enjoyed the homespun manner of telling, as if we were right there by the author. Please keep on writing!
This book continues the adventures of John and Sandy and I was so pleased to see it was released. Neither character is one to sit on the porch and I really enjoyed their travels as they caught up with some old friends and took care of some deserving bad hombres. Sandy as "Wyatt" was a hoot, and the fact she is becoming a pistolero of note in her own right is great, as long as she has John there to be her Doc Holliday. This was the best story yet in my opinion.
I love their plan to help with the recovery and this just opens to door yet for more adventures. I am still wondering about the government plans and hopefully ther next installment will shed more light on what happened. Again, don't sweat the editing and you will be fine, folks.
