I've been dabbling in blogging and reading blogs for almost 10 years. I've only recently become serious about my own blogging journey. "Everything But the Posts" is the perfect springboard for the next step in my journey. Becca Ludlum's book is perfect for a blogging newbie, dabbler, or experienced blogger looking into the next phase of for their blog. Becca has great advice on setting up your blog, improving SEO, and developing a readership and community in the social media world. She even walks you through the process of monetizing your blog and provides examples of how she did this herself! I had to refrain from highlighting almost every paragraph. The book is FULL of easy to read and implement advice and I look forward to making over my own blog with it in mind.I am lucky enough to call Becca a friend and cheerleader/mentor in my own life and am so glad she took the time to share her wisdom and experience with the world. This book is full of tips and tricks for bloggers. It has helpful tips for the beginner (things I wish I knew when I started), as well as more advanced information about things like monetizing and connecting with brands. Get this book and follow Becca's advice!
As a blogger looking to monetize, this book had everything I needed without being too long! I finished this book in about an hour and will have tons of references to come back to later. Great investment for the new or looking-to-monetize blogger! So happy to have all the info I need in one spot!
Becca's book is packed with tons of practical information for bloggers! It is very thorough and easy to understand. It's clearly written by someone who knows and understands this business. This book will be a constant reference for me. Excellent!
Easily read and the content is on point. Gave information I didn't know about. Gave the process from beginning to end on how to be a successful blogger. The sponsor chapter was informative, and insightful.
This is a great book! I'm starting a new blog and I learned so much from this book. Each chapter is detailed and there are actionable steps to take. I like that there is a lot of information in the book but it's delivered in a way I can understand it. I'm excited to apply everything I've learned! I recommend this book to anyone looking for a book to help them blog.
I'll admit that I skipped over a few of the chapters about setting up a blog, etc., because I already knew that. The chapters that I did dive into, however, were very helpful. My favorite parts were on using social media and on advertising. The media kit information was especially valuable. All in all, it's a great read. I finished it in just a couple of hours, but I "bookmarked" so many things on my that I need to reread to take notes. Great book for a blogger who's just starting out or someone who's new to monetizing.
